Luna Park is a theme park built in 1935 and is situated under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The slogan used "Just For Fun", explains it all!
I remember lining up at the Big Dipper, Ghost Train and Topsy-Turvy house, while eating pink fairy floss and then make my way to Coney Island where the giant slippery dips and amusement games were located.
The famous FACE entry has always been the main feature of the park. Although it was a little scary for me walking through that big open mouth as a small child.
The current face is the eighth face of Luna Park. It was completed in 1994 and is based on Arthur Barton's 1950 version of " Old King Cole".
